The Omaha Nanny Network can provide you with full-time, part-time, live-in or live-out care for your children.   Below you will find a short description of each:

Full time Live-Out Nanny - A full time nanny typically works 5 days/week with two days off (hours range from 40-50/wk) .  A full time nanny typically does tasks related only to the children such as meals, laundry, light clean up after the children as well as play and nurturing.  Many nannies also transport children to and from activities and participate in the child's educational development.

Fee:  A $475 placement fee is required for all full time placements.        (Refundable for 60 days)

Part time Live-Out Nanny - A part time nanny typically works 5-25 hours/week with varying days.  Their responsibilities are similar to that of a full time nanny.

Fee:  A $300 placement fee is required for all part time placements.      (Refundable for 30 days)

Live-In Nanny - A live-in nanny is typically placed with a family on a full time basis.  However, there are exceptions.  A live-in nanny may be placed with a local family or nationwide.  Their hours and salary will differ from live-out positions.  The nanny will have their own accomodations and in most cases a private bathroom.  The family will provide a car for the nanny to transport children and for the nanny's own use.

Fee:  A $700 placement fee is required for all live-in placements.           (Refundable for 60 days)

Occasional Babysitter -  A babysitter works on an occasional basis without a regular schedule.  The specific babysitter may vary from time to time.  This applies to on call care, sick child care, hotel care, or event care.

Fee:  Local families that choose to use our babysitting services will pay an annual $120 membership fee.  *You will receive other discounts and benefits by becoming a member.  If you are not a local family, prices will vary so please contact our office for more information about our babysitting fees. (Nonrefundable)

Nationwide Nannies - A nanny that is placed in another state other than Nebraska.  This nanny will work full or part time and live with the family.  In the case of a live-in nanny traveling to another state, we encourage families to pay the nanny's travel expenses.

Fee:  Please call to discuss the fees related to this service. 

In addition to the placement fee, there is a one time, nonrefundable application fee of $75 that we require for all families searching for a nanny.  All fees are good for one year regardless of the number of nannies you have.  The placement fee is due in full BEFORE the nanny begins work with the family.

We also can provide the following services:

-Temporary Nanny (generally a temporary nanny only works for a short period of time to provide coverage until full time care can be provided)

-Mother's Helper (a mother's helper is someone with limited experience, but can provide a helping hand to a stay at home mom/dad)

-Baby Nurse or Specialist (this is not a certified nurse but rather someone with experience dealing with newborns and in most cases multiples)

-Night Nanny (a night nanny can provide overnight care for any age of child, but is only scheduled for evening hours)

-After School Nanny and/or Summer Nanny

-On Call Babysitting for sick children, event care, and hotel care

Fees:  A $150 placement fee is required for all temporary nannies.  (Nonrefundable)

          A $300 placement fee is required for all mother's helpers and after school nannies.  (Refundable for 30 days)

          The fees related to Baby Nurse, Night Nanny, and Summer Nanny will vary, so call us for more information.  The fees listed above are Introductory Rates.  All fees are subject to change at any time.

Refunds can be made within the specified period of time.  We will provide replacements free of charge for up to one year.

Our Nanny Requirements:

-must be at least 18 years of age (most are over 21 years)

-must be a high school graduate

-must have 2 or more years of verifiable childcare experience

-must hold current First Aid and CPR certification (or be willing to become certified)

-must be legal to work in the U.S.

-must pass a criminal background check

-must have a clean driving record verified by the DMV

-must have 3 excellent childcare references (family not included)

-must have 2 excellent personal references

-must have reliable transportation

-must be willing to make a one year commitment (depending on the type of placement)
